(American Nonsmokers Rights Foundation) – CA. ANR has updated its list of U.S. Laws or Policies Prohibiting or Restricting Smoking in Private Units of Multi-Unit Housing. Fifteen municipalities in California have ordinances requiring 100% smoke-free market rate multi-unit housing. Most of these laws also apply to public/affordable housing.

The American Nonsmokers Rights Foundation has updated its smoke-free MUH list.

15 municipalities in California have ordinances requiring 100% smoke-free market rate multi-unit housing. Most of these laws also apply to public/affordable housing;
Another 22 municipalities in California restrict smoking in market rate and public/affordable housing;
An astounding 236 public housing authorities and commissions in 37 states have a no-smoking policy that either restricts or prohibits smoking in some or all private units!
