Housing goes smoke-free
(The Daily Press) – Timmins. Residents of local subsidized housing units can take a breath of fresh air. The Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board (CDSSAB) had decided to make its housing units smoke-free. “On April 1, the Cochrane DSSAB adopted a smoke-free policy,” said Carol Barber, CDSSAB program manager. “This is a move that we truly think is the way of the future. It is a step that needed to be taken and one that we are proud to have done so.”
